Hi all, I am in the process of planning an office move and one of the things up for consideration is upgrading computer equipment.
There's only 2 of us and at present we both use our laptops (Macbook Pro's) connected to a Dell U2312HM, and while this works, we would like to move to actual 'desktop' computers with dual displays.
For the time being, we will likely just buy some refurbished Dell Optiplex PC's while we save up for something better, but in terms of monitors, we could do with some advice.
As we want matching equipment in the office, our choices are limited to:
1) Try and find 2 x Dell U2312HM's for sale on the second hand market and use the 4 monitors in 2 Dual Monitor setups.
2) Sell the 2 x Dell U2312HM's and buy 4 x new matching monitors.
My first question is, what is the Dell P2314H like in comparison to the U2312HM? The images I've looked at look as though the only difference is possible the stand and the edges of the casing. The stands aren't important because we can always get monitor arms if needed, but not sure about the edges of the casing.
Second question is which of the 2 options would you go for? Part of me thinks it would be daft to sell the 2 screens we've already got, just to buy 4 matching ones.
