Please sanity check my Ryzen build before I pull the trigger! :)

Hey all. I hope this is the correct sub-forum. I wasn't certain...

I'm looking to go back to desktop after a couple of years gaming on a Gigabyte P35W laptop. This has a decent i7 processor but only an 870M GPU and I want something cool & quiet again.

My preferences are:
  • Budget - <£1000 if possible
  • CPU - I really like the look and sound of the new Ryzen 5 1600X so one of those if possible
  • GPU - This is primarily a gaming rig. I play a range of games from Civ 6, Stellaris, The Division, Doom, Battlefield 1, NieR, DOTA2, etc. etc. etc. but I currently only have dual 1080p monitors and there's no immediate plan to upgrade. Although it would be nice to keep my options open for higher resolution in the future.
  • Case - I don't mind much what the look is like but cool, quiet, and big enough for an SSD or two (boot & games) plus I use about 4 or 5 x 3.5" HDD for storage and it would be great to have them all in one box.
  • PSU - fully modular would be great.
  • OS - I think paying for Windows 10 would probably be far easier than trying to persuade Microsoft to reactivate my previous version on a completely new rig (it was a 7 upgrade, reactivated twice since then after small system changes).
  • Stock - I'm impatient, only in stock stuff to try and get it before Easter :D
  • I don't need monitor, keyboard, mouse.
  • A wifi adapter would be useful because of where the PC sits at the moment.
  • I am okay with overclocking but if I can not bother that would be great.
I don't know if I'm being unrealistic but any thoughts are gratefully received! I have been out of the loop for a few years.

Thank you!

EDIT: I had a go on my own, allowing a little overbudget..... Opted for only a 1060 because I figure it's good bang/buck and I won't feel terrible if I spend a few more ££ to upgrade that component only at a later date.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,155.87

Have I missed the mark entirely?

I would save yourself £90 and reactivate win10, I've done it numerous times and they don't bat an eyelid.

I don't see a CPU cooler listed - do you have this already?

You should be able to get a small overclock on the stock cooler, and clock it up to the R5 1600X.

The SuperFlower is a better psu.

No need for extra thermal paste.

The 6GB GTX 1060 is better, or go with an RX 480.

Faster 3000MHz ram, although it might run at 2666MHz until they sort out the ram issues (Bios updates).
