please save my life

Just received the new fan 2day.but in trouble again.
I can't remove the back off plate of the original water block as half of it is covered by the case. The only way I found now is 2 grap the mobo from case whic i couldn't manage 2 get it .the old screws attached mobo and case are impossible 2 remove cause the damage 2 the screw eyes.
Please give me some tips on that .I stopped the project 2 avoid more stupid moves :)

If you haven't already damaged the screw heads go out and buy the proper tools. Google these two screwdrivers as they're perfect for removing screws from water blocks:

Stanley FatMax XL 00 x 50mm Phillips Screwdriver

Wired--up T6 Torx Screwdriver

They r not really damaged , just the tread on the heads is worn away.
They r very small screws on the mobo. I tried the 3 kinds of drivers I've got right now. The problems seem as they'r probably driven by too much pressure when installed them in the first place and it is hard to remove them now , as there's no stress point for my drivers.

The water block has been removed , just remains the back plate on the other side of the cpu which should be replaced by the plate from the fan.
Do which kind of the driver can pile the Hexagon Nuts Domed Cap Nuts

While your determination to do things your self and to go watercooling is admirable, I must say you missed a big step in all of this. RESEARCH!
Let this be a lesson to you and al least now try to do some reading about the products you are trying to install your self.

Have the computer taken by NECS 1 hour ago.
Thank you guys for all the cheers up or lectures (lol) for the past few days.
I learnt a lesson and ready 2 pay .
Hopefully , no one would make the same mistake as me.
Good luck

When will you get it back?

Honestly , I dont know. They sent a guy to my house ,where we sat down 2gether to install the fan and MOBO.
However, some sparks shown up after he think everything done . Basicly , the guy almost burnt the mobo. But he was so nice that I can hardly blame him for that as he offered 2 check and build it again in their base. The computer was driven by his van. ( haha , guess I was not that so bad. even the professional guy cant fix it on site and I havent asked him 2 fix the water cooling system since it will cost a huge money by over 100!!!!!)
Anyway, he said he will keep in touch with me and promised 2 get it back nicely in a few days.
Given the NECS has a good reputation (from what I've known so far), I'm fine and not worried at all.
Thank you for your concerns and wish you wont meet this situation.

The computer was sent back .Everything works perfectly 32 centigrade for 3.4GHZ for air cooling which is perfect to me .
The price was reasonable , based on the manager's words. They spent 1 hour on my site and another 3 in their base. Totaly cost me 55 pounds + a free trip . ( They r so nice and easily negociable. )
Thank you and time for closing this post.

To begin with , I didnt ask them 2 fix my water cooling cause that will cost like 150 pounds.
What they did is replacement by installing CPU fan. The engineer who spent an hour on my site put everything 2gether ,even through the PC sparked!instead of booting. I felt so lucky as I virtually smelt the burning smell.
The guy brought back the PC and reinstalled for 3 hours by their engineers !(huge project, cuz they seldom dealt with a gaming machine)
This morning they gave me an unexpected reason as the RAM on board were overclocked which hardly made me 2 believe .They think the problem cause serious power issues. However ,I 'm so confused as the PC actually worked fine b4 moving the water block ,no way can I change the bios since I haven't powered the PC for a few days. I even don't know how exactly can I overclock the Rams. Strange :::::
Btw ,the PC works just perfectly now. The difference is not apparent between cooling methods. I should have chosen the air cooling in the first place.

As Churchill the dog nods in the back ground "oh yeh" .....

I suggest you stay away from water cooling and sell me your kit . Ill allso have the dead DDC pump and ill buy it all off you.

:)

What do u mean in ur first sentence ? I appreciated ur help b4 and I also dont wanna 2 be laughed at .That's why I stressed in the begining said I bought the kit from a friend for fun.
I tried my efforts to fix the stuff desipte I failed at last. I said air cooling is good choice for me cause it is useful and cause less trouble to me. I hope u could possibly repect that. It's certainly ok if U wanna 2 get this kit .Hence,as I said b4, I wish 2 learn and hope someone could help me 2 fix it and do the job together in the future .

Oh yeh as in its fixed ..... :)

I should be getting a car soon so if i ever get some spare time and your free we can take a look at your kit, £50 for fitting a fan is a bit OTT though from that company. The guys that came out couldn't have been that good not to find a fault. There are a lot of cow boy IT companies around now a days and i deal with fixing there bad bodge jobs all the time.

£50 is a bargain to have a company come and fix it. Many would charge £30 call out, then £20 per hour.

These guys took it away and returned it working

They Actually charged me 80 , (including 35 call out ) however ,I get some discount by negociating with their manager.

The merits of inviting a professional company is because I'm short of many tools as I just moved 2 a new home .

I'd more than welcome for any of you comes 2 newcastle anytime except 19,20th .. It is perfect if you could come in the evening on weekdays as I have 2 spend my day time in uni.
Many THX
BTW , i havent met the bluescreen problem so far. I guess it was either caused by my Logitech G930 headset port OR the power problems due 2 overclocking , I set the RAM on auto from BIOS instead of Profile 1 ,which is 1600hz SETTING, or could be caused by CPU power caliboarion as I changed from level 5 to level 2.
So my computer run as 4GHZ with a temperature 43centigrade
