Hi all :)

Twice now in the last fortnight I've come back to my PC to find my desktop distorted as per attached screens - quick reboot, and all is cured.

So - GPU or monitor at fault here?

Monitor is 3 YEAR old Samsung S27A750D, and GPU is 3 MONTH old MSI GTX 760.

Is it a 3d monitor?, it looks like its in 3d interlaced mode or something. Try looking at monitor settings.

It certainly is (not that I ever use that feature)! Hmmm, interesting - I see your thinking. INITIALLY I just wanna establish that it's not my almost new GPU :)

Thanks for the comments guys.

It only happens when switching back from 'standby' mode, so sounds plausible that it's just a niggle. Again to confirm, only ever done it twice.
