For a very long time I've had a slightly different colour from my right side to my left and a different sensation in temps. I also suffered headaches nearly every few days and severe migraines. When I was playing certain games such as BF3 I was getting huge rushes and couldn't calm down, i'd come back on the forums and still felt either raged or on a buzz, sometimes hours later i'd still be on that buzz. I'd have this strange feeling in my chest sometimes tightness sometimes it felt like i'd had too much coffee.
But something went wrong about 4days ago, I was getting a lot of cramp in my chest and no amount of bashing my chest thinking it was trapped wind would get rid of it. Then my right arm right down to my hand swelled up, it went purple and these veins started showing in my arm to under arm. Something was very wrong.
I went into health care and they didn't know what it was and to just keep an eye on it, so I ignored it and spent a day shopping. When I came back I had really bad cramp, pain spikes in my chest and I felt it was becoming serious.
Going into the doctors on emergency appointment, he became really concerned about a blood clot in my arm and I was rushed into hospital. Everything was focused on my arm and there was huge concerns because if it was in my leg I could just be giving blood thinning pills and sent home, having one in the arm is far more dangerous. I was giving a powerful dose of blood thinning injections and had to stay in.
I was taken by wheel chair into the Doppler room and they scanned my arm, but only found a small clot, it was very small. They said this wasn't the cause it was somewhere else, they squeezed and squashed my main valve and it wouldn't close!.
They found it
, A large clot in my CHEST the chest of all places, basically if I had left it i'd most likely be dead either sooner or later in my life. My body was struggling to flow the blood circulate the blood properly, it's why I couldn't calm down, my bad heads, my chest pain and swelling down my right side.
I broke down in tears, to be told it could've killed me to see that large clot in my Chest of all places, to think it could've even moved into my lungs or killed me by stroke
I was then told that my entire mother side has the blood clot gene and protein and it jumped a generation and was in me. My blood was clotting and it was not my fault, my mother's niece(?) has both and his on high doses. They told me I need to take injections in my stomach or thigh for 3 months EVERY day which are top doses and could give me bleeding then put on pills for the rest of my life.
I gave myself the injection in the stomach and I didn't feel too good, it should not be working that fast but being that I had stomach issues anyway, I started to puke then I collapsed. I was picked up and put on the table and was given time to recover.
Just couldn't believe it, I always felt it strange that I couldn't calm down my chest pains and everything else going on. To be told it could've killed me, to be told that I was kept in for check up but also the injection could've moved the clot and shut my lungs down. Even what I'm on now i have a 13% chance of blood clot moving into my lung or brain and a 1% chance of dieing. To basically have you could've died or can die is
, so there you have it If i vanish off the forum for months you know why.
There is only ONE upside to all of this, the nurse that looked after me was beautiful and kept my blood moving in a good way, hah
