Please someone explain offset/adaptive (msi)

Got a stable 4.5 oc on my 6600k. Can someone explain how to get my Idle voltages down? Plus or minus on the offset and where shall I start? Tried to find YouTube videos but.. Here I am! Adaptive works but it makes my overclock go to 4ghz sadly...

4.5k stable @ 1.32 on an msi gaming pro

Fixed it... The msi board wasn't allowing me past a limit of 80w on the cpu. Changed the cpu current limit (A) to 250 and no longer throttling clock down. Now cpu using about 110w.
