BUT i cant afford to waste more than say £300-350 for the whole weekend.

any ideas where could go? Must be hot - gettable to from london, and doable from leaving on a fri after 5pm and back before the monday (im on a placement year in my uni course).

anyone got any ideas?
do these 'last minute' holiday deals really exist?
is there anywhere hot enof to get a tan in 2 days at this time of the year?

please please please someone help me =[ google is useless and emotionless!

mmm Bath no thnx!

Teletext? :O serious?

Valencia? is it hot there now?

What sites do cheap last minute stuff thou? like flights etc? Ryanair / Easyjet seem to always put them up towards fly time?

Azagoth: LOL

Valencia is indeed a nice temperature this time of year, by the sea, excellent nightlife, lots to do (including in one of the cathedrals there is a decaying arm of 'St Michael'... apparently ;) ) lots of culture, you'll be able to sit outside all day, eat and drink outside.
On the weather last night it appears to be 25degrees (or was) today.
So by the time you go it should be between 22-28 which should be nice and warm for you. Get a cheap flight on Easyjet or Ryanair or whatever.
Should be able to find cheap accommodation and then the rest is up to you!

mmm looking at that eclipse they dnt seem to offer just weekends... checking flights to valencia now, but i have a fear as with most things on ryanair towards flight date == expensive; nt last minute =[

w00t that sounds more like it! £215.

*loads*

I tried lastminute.com but it wasnt me to specify the destination and it didnt even give me cheap prices =[

The place i went to has just come up again. You can go 4* all inclusive to Holiday Village Viva C'an Picafort for £573.56 (thats for 2 not each!). Thats on the 5th May. To get the price down to this i removed the in flight meals and reduced the baggage to 15Kg per person which is plenty really!

San Sebastian is stunning, has amazing food, and is not known to the Brits really, so not toooo expensive- especially at this time of year.

Took my bird there in Jan (Admittedly, we were living in Madrid at the time, which made it all a bit easier), but she bloody loved it.
