Greetings and salutations :)

I was wondering if I could use some of the OCUK grey matter and ask for some advice spacing my brother a upgrade.

All we are after is a Motherboard for a single GPU, CPU (inc heat sink) and RAM
the budget can stretch as far £350 in extreme circumstances .

It will be a gaming rig for SWTOR and WoW and I would like to overclock it to say 4ghz or so, simple BIOS would be great :P

We have everything else so MB CPU and RAM needed

and GO!!!!!

Thank you in advance

Retail CPU has a 3 year warranty and a stock heatsink. You didn't specify a mobo size needed, so i've added this Asrock mATX incase. It is actually SLI/Xfire capable and is priced between Tammzys entry level GB mobo and the more expensive GB SLI mobo. I like the styling of the Asrock but I can't deny GB has a good warranty service (3 years also).

The RAM is good and it's usually £45ish. Ties in nicely with the colour scheme, as does the heatsink which has a blue LED fan and a remote supplied to adjust the fan speed.

Gentlemen a huge thank you to you both, much appreciated.

To add: value for money > everything else as getting the most for his money is the big thing, look is in no way necessary and his PC will be under a desk :P
Also, if this can influence the price he will only ever have one GFX card and a 3 year warranty gives a peace of mind :D

A huge thank you to both of you as always good info from the OCUK clan :D

You'll fit the GB D3H mobo in there easy then :) I swear that case has a window on it......you sure he isn't bothered about looks ;)

It has a window yes (my old case as I will be upgrading) and he is a total technophobe so as long as he can press an "on" button log in and double click an icon he has demonstrated his PC abilities lol so the "less" interaction with the PC the better so under the desk she goes as he will never appreciate "the looks" :p

thank you again gang :D
