Hi all

Max £3,200 once in a 6 year upgrade been waiting for 2 years for this. I want everything to be compatible as they can. 2 SSD and 64GB ram, Flight sims etc.

Thanks.

Not building it my self i will ask OCUK to do it like i did 6 years ago with this PC.

The demo one is much better value in my opinion, particularly if you make an offer. I think the DIY build I spec above would also be better value after OCUK add their build charge.

What about the fan on the pre built is all in one water cooler and looks like has 7 fans on case too. I want it quiet as possible too.

I'm not sure what the demo includes, since that case has no fans by default, but I'd imagine if they used it as a demo, it had at least enough.

A 360mm AIO is overkill for a 7800X3D/9800X3D, the freezer 36 or peerless assassin handles them fine.

The case in the DIY build (Lian Li 216) has a good bundled fan config.

One question. what you mean by demo lol.

16gb VRAM is an issue as well if you’re planning to keep the card 6 years.

The only reason i didnt upgrade this pc is the price vs performance. Coming from a 2080ti to a 5080 is a big jump along with newer other parts etc and a clean up to date pc with better fans. It might be different with a 5080 and jump to a 6090 this time. I dont just want to buy a new card for this PC. If i do no in me something else will break and fans on back case sounds wobbly after all these years too.

Back in voodoo graphic card day i would upgrade all time but today dont seem worth it.

How about changing the SSD to a WD Black SN770 2TB SSD M.2 2280 NVME PCI-E Gen4 Solid State Drive (WDS200T3X0E)

And CPU to a

AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D Twelve Core 5.60GHz

£3,314.99

They must have added the graphic card choice recently thats good. What the card like on noise.

I got a Philips 27" 1440p Evina monitor and a M32U 4k monitor

My PC now is

CPU 3700x
Mobo x570 a pro
16GB ram 6000mhz
Zotac Amp extreme 2080ti
1TB wd black sn580 nvme I think thats the make i know its WD any way but pretty sure its that.

As said bought 6 years ago from here at £2500. Been happy with it until last 2 years or so and been waiting for these 5080 to come out and think the 5090 is a bit way too much.

The performance from a pre built to a custom built cant be that bad can it?. Is it mainly the cost.

How about upgrading the ram to this Kingston FURY Beast EXPO RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C36 6000MHz Dual Channel Kit which is in the selection.

I just want to press buy. But so scared mainly about the noise level while gaming and have cause performance from my 2080ti and CPU.

I will be buying this month if in stock Ive been waiting 2 years lol.. Also is the motherboard good?.

This is from tetras I just left out the card at the moment as looking to see what best but this comes up to £1,273.88p with out card. Anything else to upgrade to better quality like THE PSU, Case and fans?. Including card im prepared to pay up to £3,200 with OCUK building it. Less noise on the fans the better :)

Also ive liked Western digital for make of storage for some reason best but i expect that dont matter really.

the build is spot on. ever thing is good soldid brands with good warranty.
the only question would be the case? do you like it, get a case you like obviously

I dont mind what the case looks like as long as its good air flow and big enough and easy enough to reach components for future upgrades.
