Please spec me a 5080

Also someone mentioned that the mobo

Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite WIFI7 (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard

says hes not sure if it has the Asynchronous Clock like the CROSSHAIR one does because i am pretty sure you're going to want to push your 9800X3D to 5.6GHZ I dont know what that means but is he right?.

Do you mean the master series from Gigabyte? That has Eclk/Asysnchronous clock. So using Elck you can get past the limit of 5.4ghz that is imposed though normal clocking. It's not really needed unless you like to do a lot of benching or tinkering about at higher frequencies.

Is that just for over clocking?.

Pretty much. If you are after a no frills clock of 5.4ghz any budget motherboard will do. But if you want to clock beyond that then it a motherboard with eclk/asynchronous clock.

Motherboards that is the 870 series with this feature are pricier than the rest.

But stuff like x670e is more reasonably priced.

I mean if you are always tinkering about with the CPU aspect then it might be worth getting. But if you are one of those set it at 5.4ghz then forget about it then it is a wasted feature.

So the

X870E Aorus Elite WIFI7 is fine with the cpu i just wont be able to over clock which i never do any way so i will go with this.

Just the graphic card to decide on as i just said to overclockers that this card

Is just a place holder card and not decided which make.

You will be able to overclock just not past the 5.4ghz limit. I have the Giga pro ice which is practically the same boards as yours and I have that running at 5.4ghz.

And on the AMD it is so simple and easy to do it be rude not to.

I no you said phone them but as said i hate phones and asking someone to phone and talk about the pc i want isn't a thing either. Thanks. hehe

:)

This is how bad i am at phones i only answer when i know who is calling and if i dont no number i google it instead of answering it. lol

Hi overclockers got back to me today with this build and quote. They changed the case and cpu cooler to a AIO cooler.

Total £3,115.75p

What you think to card and CPU cooler?.

Yeah, don't think PC builders like shipping big heavy air coolers anymore. The case is fine.

All I could find:

No luck with reviews for the cooler.

He said that he wasnt sure if that one would pass our testing process with that CPU for the cooler the one you linked and if air cooled or a top end air cooler like a Noctua which i did have in my last build.
