Please spec me a 5080

I actually have that motherboard for a second pc

on What CPU?

Im just not made my mind up on either AIO cooling or top end Noctua air cooler which is abit more safer if anything breaks. Also which card make to get. Either bottom rage of cards which quoted from email. "I'll stick one in that's fairly bog standard" or pay that bit more for a better make. Which is still around the £1.200 for the lower card.

If you're getting this prebuilt and sent out then I'd advise you stick with an AIO, it is just less to worry about if you need to send it back.

Hi overclockers got back to me today with this build and quote. They changed the case and cpu cooler to a AIO cooler.

Total £3,115.75p

What you think to card and CPU cooler?.

This one.

until i get a new pc im sticking with xbox series x for now. My pc sounds like its going to take off and as said cpu fan kicks in even on idle on desk top. lol

Hi again ive decided to go the way of AIO cooler but been recommended against this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ther...ll-in-one-cpu-cooler-360mm-coo-tlr-03755.html but not said which one so any recommendations?.

Thanks.
The Arctic Freezer coolers are very good, and good value.

Also you don't need a 1200W psu. An 850W - 1000W is more than enough if you are not going with a 5090.

Also as mentioned above ditch Windows 11 and buy a key for ~£10.

I want the best what £3200 max can buy i dont want to skimp on anything hehe.

What about future upgrades on the PSU though. Say if i upgrade to a 6090 in say 3 or 4 years time?.

The Arctic Liquid Freezers are some of the best in terms of performance, so don't let the cheap price put you off. They have RGB versions as well if you prefer that.

Hard to say what a 6090 will require, but power consumption has to plateau at some point. No harm in going with 1200W but it is a bit overkill for a 5080.

Don't let the budget price of the artic fool you it is amongst the top performers if not the very top. There is nothing flash about but what it does is cool like nobody business while being relatively quiet compared to others

Thanks both (ALL). Just down to card now what make of card you think i should go for. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pali...-pci-express-graphics-card-gra-pal-04059.html OCUK says this is just a fairly bog standard GPU in it but if im not into over clocking which im not same as CPU then it fine. He also said that the higher end cards might be quieter so what do you think?. I have a 1440p main monitor Philips evnia 27". Also m32u 4k monitor.

Also is the SSD fast enough Space is more then enough and 2TB is fine.

What about this one. https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/please-spec-me-a-5080.18998437/page-5

Quite a few people here have the palit and they have said it perfectly whinefree and I don't think I have seen any who said they have had coil whine with it. Quite a few people have zotac but in regards to to coil whine it seems like a mixed bag. Some people say they have and the other day they don't so YMMV. Then there is a small group that have the gaming MSI trio myself included. For the most part the trios seem to be mostly free of coil whine although I can remember one or two posts about it.
