Please spec me a 5080

What resolution do you game at? If 4K+ or VR, then see my posts above. The fundamental problem of the 5080 is 16Gb VRAM. For flight sims, I would narrow the choice to 3090, 4090 and 5090 (also AMD has some cards with 20Gb+ VRAM, but then you lose RT and DLSS). The fundamental problem with the older cards is their lack of warranty, although this depends on the seller.

Main monitor is a 27" Evnia Philips OLEd 1440p but do have a m32u 4k monitor.

1440p would be ok with the 5080, but 4K will struggle. Not even talking about some distant future, DCS will struggle today (not sure about MSFS24). Cyberpunk2077 @4k consumes just under 16Gb VRAM for me, so "normal" games should be ok in the near future at least. But flight sims are different.

Yeah ive seen footage and reason why i went and got a 1440p for main monitor to have best of both worlds.

I also want it native res too as i dont like the look of DLSS.

YAY PC here very fast delivery thanks OCUK.

Dont recommend much to driver delivery though. He was almost rolling it had to tell him to stop. I asked can he bring it up and looked at me and said no as it a 2 man job as i do live in upper apartment but only one flight of stairs. I have to leave it in small corridor until help comes later. After inspecting packaging its damaged greee. Lazy ass holes delivery drivers. They knew how big the packaging was and should have made arrangements. Not blaming OCUK at all just the lazy DPB. If cant lift then he shouldnt be a delivery driver.

when dpd delivered my custom build the drive got it out of the van, then picked it up and realised it was too heavy so he dropped it from about 6 inches, the thud did worry me to be fair. I bet the business manager at DPD tells all their clients "oh yes our drivers are very careful with fragile items" :D

hehe. Only packaging was damaged pc seems fine. It was well packaged.

yea they package it well, still made my stomach drop though!

Ive had a kidney transplant 18 years ago now but he would not even enter building to move to side so it out of way of door way. He said im not allowed in building its an apartment. I moved it away from door so no one would trip over it but i did struggle. Is it normal for drivers not allowed to enter building or was he just been a jerk because it was a big package.

Don't know if it is normal, but yeah, have heard that before. One reason given was due to insurance.
Delivery drivers in our area used to leave items in our porch, now they dont. Ive had parcels left outside whilst its been raining even after specifying to leave item in the porch.

Ive always wondered if too many people complained of drivers opening their doors to leave a package inside. I know its a breach of privacy and safety, but id rather them do that than leave my parcel outside.

Perks of having a porch aswell, can leave outside door open and inside door locked so no real fear of someone taking a cheeky peek inside your house.

I ordered a PC from OCUK around 5 years ago, close to £2,000 - delivery driver left it on the doorstep without ringing the bell or knocking on the door, I know because I was in the front room

No idea how long it sat there before I decided just to go outside and check nothing had been delivered.
