A friend of mine is after a business machine. His budget is £500 to include monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers. The machine is going to be used to send and receive e-mails, word processing and to store a lot of photographs.

add w7 home premium 64 bit and a cheap 22" screen keyboard, job done!

unless it had to join a domain now or in the near future then you need w7 pro

though a lefit office 2010 is going to push it over budget, so stick to windows mail live and openoffice
