Ok, I've had it with this rubbish canon 4200F scanner, it's utter ***** and I can't even get it to work under windows without a TWAIN error. It's gone out the window and has cracked into two.

I love my samsung ML-2010R laser printer, the best printer I've ever had, reliable and never seems to run out of toner.

But I also need a scanner, and the problem is drivers. Most decent company's support lots of OS's, but cannon seem to only like windows.

I dual boot my mac with Windows and Mac OSX and use a virtual machine for Linux. I only need the scanner/printer to work with Mac AND Windows.

Is there such thing as a laser printer with scanner for about £100 that isn't massive and is compatible with Mac?

Please help guys? :(

Edit - also, it needs to be combined because I only have 3 USB ports on my iMac and also a space issue.

Ok, no replies. No worries.

For search purposes. I got the Samsung SCX-4300. A great little machine, I hope. Arrives tomorrow.

Hopefully you're still subscibed to this thread and will notice this...

How have you found the SCX-4300?

Thanks.

Additional: How much ink does it come supplied with?
