Hello,
As per title i am helping a friend to build a gaming pc as his phenom one is old now and looking at ideas on what to get.
He needs
Motherboard
Processor
Ram (16GB i guess no more)
Psu
Maybe an nvme if budget allows. He has a 256gb sata to get from the old pc and an HDD for storage.
As he doesn't upgrade often i was along the lines of the 3600x since it comes with an ok cooler and probably a b450 MAX but feel free to let me know if anything else is suggested. He doesn't mind if it is intel or amd. He doesn't tweek things so the less hassle it is to setup for him the better.
Forgot to mention he has a 580 and games at 1080p so should be fine for now
