Hi Folks

I currently have a Kolink core 500w 80+ PSU, I've been getting some strange behavior as of late. Ill press the power button and it seems like the system has posted leds etc come on but the system does not post correctly.

I hit the reset switch and it seems to then boot fine. The PSU seems to "click" before booting?
I have very limited confidence in the PSU.

System Specs.
Thermaltake Versa H15 M-atx case.
Ryzen 5 2600 (stock) AMD Wraith Prism cooler.
Gigabyte B450 DS3H mobo
Crucial M.2 250gb card
500gb SSD
1TB HDD
16gb Ballistix DDR4 3000mhz (2x8gb)
Sapphire Pluse Nitro RX570 4gb (single 6 pin)
Thermaltake 10 port fan controller + 4 PWM 120mm fans. (Runs off a sata connector)

Cheers.

I've always stayed clear of the Kolink PSU's... The more experienced bunch on here know all about them and talk about the internals being very unreliable and failing...

What sort of budget you looking to spend?

Not much around the £60 that I know is decent... I've specc'd the Seasonic Core Gold 500w as they have been recommended a lot, Seasonic are a decent brand that use great internals, they also come with 7 year warranty which is an added bonus..

It's over your budget but always best to get a strong and decent PSU to run your system :)

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £69.95 (includes shipping: £0.00)

Thanks for the advice, I have a new Seasonic Core Gold GC-500 500w on its way ill let you know how I get on. I was tempted by the Kolink 500w 80+ gold fully modular but went for the Seasonic instead.

Seasonic is a more reputable brand and has longer warranty on products which is always a bonus

Delivered Yesterday and installed, wow what a difference. A massive reduction in noise and fan resonance/vibration. System running a bit cooler too.
