Please spec me a web cam

At present i have a Logitech pro 9000 and its rubbish, bought it when they were about £90 not worth £20 really.

The cam i had before was a 3comm connect and it had a really good quality picture.

So looking for a high quality cam. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Haha. I was going to recommend the cam you hate when reading the thread title. What don't you like about it. I used one for a while... seemed excellent. You don't get much better unless you go professional I'm afraid.

Well could you recommend software for it, better software may improve the situation.

There is grain in the picture and slight vertical lines, barely visible but i can see them.

I need it to conference to the states.
