Hi guys im after building an Htpc I want to use it for windows 7 and xbmc I have around £300 to spend but if cheaper is possible then i will go cheaper.

I want it silent as possible and low power usage as my son uses it for watching is kids programmes for about 6 hours each day.

The only ideas i got so far is

F4 320gig for operating system.

i got this little lot for a £300 (or there abouts :p) build a couple of weeks ago;

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
ZOTAC NF610I-K-E nForce 610i
Intel Celeron E3300
Powercool Modular 450W PSU
Lian Li PC-Q07B Mini ITX Case
Samsung SH-S223L 22x DVD±RW
Crucial 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400
Western Digital WD2500AAJS 250GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm

cost £315 in all and was a pretty good little PC, hopefully it'll give you a few ideas
