I'm looking for a laptop to use primarily for photo editing whilst on the move. I'll be using software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and maybe some others like Luminar 4. Other than that it will mostly be used for general browsing, I'm not a gamer.
I would prefer a larger screen, 17" if possible, I could manage with 15". Must run Windows 10 (Pro). Ideally have at least 512Mb of SSD storage, although I understand that some have a mix of SSD (for the OS) and a normal HDD for the rest, I could compromise here, but I know that a SSD is very useful when processing raw photo files so would prefer to avoid traditional HDD's if possible.
I must have Wifi (I think they all have that nowadays?). A CD/DVD reader/writer would be a bonus, but not a deal breaker. Software tells me that I must have a minimum of 8Gb of RAM.
I believe an IPS display is most likely the best option? Minimum of 100% sRGB coverage, 100% Adobe RGB coverage if possible. I need as good a screen as I can get for photography.
Budget would be between £700-£1,000
