I'm still having issues with laggy/jerky scrolling via my website in signature using IE 9. Using IE 10+ and Firefox and it's fine, however using the temp blog and it's smooth. I don't know what could be causing it, perhaps it's intense debate. A few others have said it's a bit slow even on 100mbit connections, yet others have said it loaded right away

Can ocuk members please test it and see if it scrolls and loads ok?

If not I can see me doing a re-do of the web page :mad:

Which website are we talking about here? The one in your sig?

From my own personal knowledge JavaScript runs in the same thread as the GUI for Internet Explorer 9 and lower.
Therefore any JavaScript you have running that checks for scroll events (IE9 and lower fires a hell of a lot of them) is going to cause the whole thing to lag.

Try disabling JS and/or any scripts you have included and go from there.

Works reasonably well in IE11; no issues in latest Chrome

Maybe you could reduce the amount of posts on the homepage? Should help with loading times. Just a suggestion.

Firefox 26.0, loaded very fast and is smooth as i could hope for.

Same in IE10 for me also, fast and smooth.

Fine on Chrome and Safari. Noticed it's not responsive though
