Looked at the car, missus liked it, just had 12 months MOT done, had both front wishbones replaced 
Bloke has put a blaupunkt (sp?) cd HU in it. Paintwork needs a tidy up (couple of light keyings on some panels, nothing an afternoon couldn't sort out) test drive was fine, braked straight, no vibrations, no smoke, and it's got a Bosch fuel pump 
Five minutes of haggling and he knocked off £100, mine (well,hers) for a whole 500 quid
Need to SORN it for a couple of months until she's got her 1st year NCD (and passed her test) and it becomes cheaper to insure than her metro

Only an LX, it's got basic electrics, nice wheel trims, etc. Nothing to shiney, but it's a good sized car if she wants another sprog this year.
