Hi,

Been out of the game for a while so wondered if someone could kindly spec me:

a) q6600, 4gb, good mobo, great gfx (gaming at 1280 x 1024) i.e. crysis etc, case, soundcard, cpu cooler, psu, earphones and 1tb of hdd plus anything I forget, barr monitors and keyboard n mouse - budget = £1,000 or less, I will be overclocking...

AND

b) pc for £500, not bothered about gfx but will need one, cpu, should have 2gb RAM, not bothered about hdd space, cpu cooler, mobo, case, psu, no overclocking...

Please help A.S.A.P

needs case (thats your choice) and earphones (again you probaly have a better idea then i do on whats good and whats not, since i use cheapy poor quality earphones myself)

change graphics to 8800GTX if you want but for the res you say i dont think its nesssary

for the second pc can you list what you do need as your post is a bit confusing

logic tells you to put the better ocing quad in the better pc however if you wish to OC the second pc it will do so although a new cooler may be recommened as i didnt put a third party one in

if quad isnt required tehn go duel core and improve the graphics with the money saved
