So i brought a set of the Logitech Z506 Speakers they came today, i was excited to open them and find out the plug only had two pins like the ones you use on holiday? I mean what am i meant to do with this? Am i just being stupid, I've searched the box and nothing.. couldn't find anything on Google at all.

I was also wondering if i could use like a shaver converter thing so it puts it to 3 pins but it only comes with a 1 amp fuse so i don't know what to do :/

Thanks in advance, Sorry if posted in wrong section!

Get in touch with the retailer.

There are some exemptions (example electric shavers and electric toothbrushes for example) but generally it's illegal to sell an electrical product in the UK that isn't supplied with a fitted 3 pin plug compliant with BS 1363 or it must be fitted with a conversion plug which encloses the fitted non–UK plug and can only be removed by the use of a tool.

Just do as suggested, cut the plug off and fit a normal one. It's hardly rocket science.

Isn't this part of the National Curriculum any more?

Dumbing down of the population. I can vividly remember learning how to wire a plug.
