Bored today so played about with my camera in my bedroom today. Please tell me whether this picture works and if anything could be done to improve it.

Looks good to me, and B+W is obviously a good choice.
Personally I think I would go for a slightly tighter crop to take the focus off the guitar, but also go wider to get the entire left hand switch in shot.
Nice DoF too.

I really like that image looks good in B&W...I think it would look really good if you had some smoke from a cigarette in the air maybe resting in an ash tray would give it a club type atmosphere.

nice pic mate, i love that texture of the amps. Might try something similar when i get home
