I have an Lenovo Idea Pad 5 which is 5 years old now, it was dark last night and it was sat the wrong way around were I normally place, so I accidently placed the USB-C charger cable in the USB-A socket, it annoyingly fits in the gap, after doing this the laptop won't power on and the power/charging light won't even turn on, I took the back of and tried removing the battery which didn't help, also tried resetting using the Novo reset pinhole, I'm assuming it's a gonna?
Highly frustrating as it was still/was a very functional laptop, I had an extended warranty on it but Lenovo capped the warranty to 4 years which I think is crazy, it's like new and ran everything fine, i5 CPU, 512Gb NVME, 16Gb ram, FHD display, metal chassis, seems such a waste that they only expect 4 years life out of it!?
