Bought a new tap for the bathroom.

I need to connect the hose from the new tap, which has a 3/8” female thread and washer, to 15mm copper pipe which comes out of the wall.

Avoiding using all existing plumbing.

Really struggling to find the connector I need. It’s like it doesn’t exist!

Ideally I’d use pushfit like is already there and I’ve successfully used else where doing some jobs around the house.

I am not a plumber but done that before DIY, I think you need this

Never a fan of push fit with copper but here is one https://amzn.to/3zUcBzS

Personally think push fit for isolation values is a bit bulky, but if you're really keen on the push fit, you could make your own using a normal 15mm push fit isolation valve with a 3/8" to 15mm connector stems. Something like the below two - just need to probably somehow screw the tap hoses onto the stems first without damaging the 15mm brass and then push it in, otherwise it would just spin in the push fit and you might not have a good seal against your washer.

Hey. Thanks all so much. Think I’ve had a brain freeze on this going round in circles.

All very helpful.

I think these are what I was looking for

Does seem odd the above isn’t hexed to allow you to tighten up

Push fit are a bit bulky but it’s well hidden and there is plenty of space.

Appreciate it all.
