Hi All,
I am just after some help accessing my Plusnet account from here in Australia.
Recently i have tried accessing the members area on the Plusnet website and i get the message:
For security reasons, access to our customer member centre from your location is currently restricted. If you need to make any changes to your account or have a support enquiry, we would ask that you contact our 24/7 support team on +44 (0)114 2965198.
Any ideas on how to get around this? I dont want to have to call Plusnet every time i want to make changes to the account.
I have looked into using a proxy but i can only find one UK based free proxy service and neither that or any of the other european based free proxies seem to work.
Is it possible that Plusnet have blocked access from proxies too? Although im not sure how they would know a proxy from a regular end user apart from just blocking known proxies.

Hi there,

There was a problem with Plusnets webmail platform a week or two ago, they changed platform and I thought it would allow access from all locations again :/

For the time being just use an alternative like http://mail2web.com or something.

Other than that do a Remote desktop to someone in the UK and access it using that if you need account features.

Thanks for the reply.
I got the plusnet emails regarding them allowing everyone to use the Spam Tools facility. That was the reason that prompted me to try and log in to the site.

I can collect email without any problems here, i just wanted to get into the usertools side of things.
Remote Desktop might be an option but is a bit of a pain.

Cheers anyway
