Plusnet Fibre

Hi all,

Sorry if this a repeat but I'm in a rush this morning.

Finally looking to move to fibre. Because of our location we get pi55 poor connectivity so fibre is the only way forward. VM dont serve our area as its privately owned.

Plusnet look to be the only provider that offer fibre connectivity with the option of static addressing.
Obviously there is BT Business but it is ludicrously expensive.

So anyone with Plusnet fibre at the moment, any comments on service ect??

All info is gratefully received.

Well anything will be better than the ropey 3mb we currently get.
We download a lot but we can do that over night without too much hassle

I am awaiting installation on the 14th. They predict 49mb down and 10mb up.

Much better than current provider.

Bt engineer installed new face plate and modem at 10ish yesterday.
Then...nothing. no internet.

Dad rang plusnet and the lady said our line is going live tomorrow (today). He said the bt engineer had been so she clicked a button and within 10mins he was back online.
We were told that the profile will autoadjust over 10days before settling.
To give it a helping hand I was straight on grabit.

I was getting 63mb down and 11mb up. More than advertised. Happy. Rapid.
