If it’s still an ADSL connection you should be fine.

Draytek vigor 120 won't work on fibre if your stopping on adsl you should be fine.

If you want to continue using your existing router get hold of a second-hand Huawei HG612 (< £20).

As bremen said, if you want to continue to use your router you can use a HG612, a Draytek vigor 130 or I believe somebody on here was using a TP-LINK TD-W9970 in modem mode.

If the plusnet thing is that bad I'll go for the hg612 but don't want to spend money I don't have to...

Their hub is effectively the same as the BT HH5.

Well I went with the Draytek v 130 into the ERX in the end and its working perfectly. Thank you all for the suggestions!

Glad to hear your happy @Dumphole, how are you finding the ERX? Moving home soon and thinking of changing over to a Ubiquiti install, ie router and an access point.

I’ve not had any rubber banding or odd missed shots since the change so I’d say yes it’s worth it.
