i noticed the other day that my router reported faster upload and download streams . Im on a wait for maxdsl, and assumed that was what is going on. I could upload from 30 kbs to now 50 kbs. fine, thats 448 as reported by the router. Download speeds where solid at 122, which is fine for a standard 1 meg connection, but my router now reports 3684 as the download stream, but still 1 meg download speeds. I got in touch with plusnet, who said maxdsl does this and should wait for it to settle down. I didnt stop there and kept asking questions, to which after several mails and post resulted in plusnet saying, im not on maxdsl yet, and they dont know why i can upload faster now, as according to them im still on BT IPStream Home 1000. They suggested they can look into it further, but may lose the faster upload speed. They didnt report on why the router reads 3684 as a DownStream Connection Speed , and it`ll only pull still at 1 meg speeds. Think they need some heads slapping about. i await a further response from plusnet, and to top it off, i now know of another 2 friends who live local to me, also on plusnet who are reporting the same situation as me !

Plusnet say im not on maxdls, never was, just my exchange is (thus the results shown in my router), which i already knew. They claim to be able to process 700 a day, and one has to wait (again i know this) Awaiting more from them on this matter.

According to plusnet i should see speeds of 250 kbs (even there software now says i should have it !), but still it stays at 1 meg speeds
