Hi All
I currently have the 40/20 Since 07/08/2014 @ 14.99 monthly.., The service has been fine, my only complaints would be the router., Does anyone have a All-in-one suggestion or do you recommend to keep it separate as it is now ?

Thank you

Keeping the Openreach modem would give you more choice, and possibly save a few £s.

Is it just the wireless you want to improve, or do you have other requirements?

How much are you willing to spend?

I had this router and it was awful.
Trying to play oinline FPS was frustrating due to frrequent freezing and disconnects.
The internet would often freeze too.

Literally ANY £50-£100 router is money well spent.
Just go for a good brand and definitely make sure it is wireless AC compatible (latest wireless tech). Also make sure the network ports are Gigabit.

I bought a D Link DIR-868L used off the MM here. I still use the BT modem that Plusnet screwed onto the wall and plugged the new router into it.

The difference is black and white :).

I've got what I think should be 40/10 but is effectively 36/14 from PlusNet and I use an Asus RT-AC66U. I originally used the Netgear DGND3700 that I'd been using pre-FTTC and that was fine once the ADLS modem was not in use but the Asus is a much better device.

I'm on Plusnet ADSL, my TP Link VR900 is excellent with no issues, plus point for me is when high speed is in my area I can use the VDSL part of the VR900.

I am with Plusnet and bought a BT HomeHub 5, if you go down this route make sure to default the homehub before you setup though to get rid of all the BT FON rubbish.

Wireless is the key issue. It seem's to be all over the place :(

HG612/ECI + a decent router is usually the best option from a technical perspective, VR900 or similar gets the one box solution suggestion ut given the price i'd rather put an AC56U in with the HG612 or ECI, it'll cost a lot less, has the same underlying hardware as the AC68 (dual core 800Mhz) and 3rd party firmware support.

Wireless on my TP Link VR900 is excellent, I'm two floors up from the VR900 and my online gaming never drops a connection.

Not an all in one device ** edit it is a all in one :) , any other issues with it ?
