PMW to 3 Pin

I have a few PMW fans thats i want to use along with a fan controller. To do this i need to change them from pmw to a normal 3 pin , i have found them on one site but they want to charge $15 to ship a cable to the UK...

I could really do with some of these adapter cables from a supplier within the UK so if anyone knows where i can get them it would be much appreciated.

How many pwm fans do you want to run? Ive used one of theese.

to power 3 pwm fans, one end connects to the psu, another connector to mobo cpu fan header (for pwm signal) then add your 3 pwm fans. Though with 2 of theese cables you could daisy chain 5 pwm fans.

I'm not sure how to explain it better but, im after an adapter to change a 4 pin pmw fan to a 3pin so i can plug it into a Fan controller. Nothing to do with mobo headers

I think this is what your after

these have open ends allowing you to connect the "fatter" pwm connector.

I know this is a slitter which you may not wnat to do if you want to have individual controll of the fans, but they are cheap so you could chop one side off without crying too much.

I had the same problem, I just cut the female 3 pin to allow the PWM connector to fin in as shown below;

Just cut along the orange lines and the PWM connector will fit in fine. Took seconds and didn't need to but anything else.

Thanks a lot!, i never thought about doing that tbh haha. I have some of those on order also, saves me having to buy the adapters.
