I have fitted my PNY 3080 gfx card but it refuses to display on my television - TV doesn’t recognise the PC (LG60UH625V).
When the HDMI is plugged in, the computer pauses with a debug code of 97 - on an MSI Unify this is - Console Output devices connect.
If I don’t plug in a HDMI it appears to load into Windows normally.
Is there something wrong with HDMI, would getting a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter help? Any other suggestions?

Do you have a hdmi or display port monitor to try? have u tried a differnt hdmi cable? DOes the pny have 2 hdmi port (some cards do some only have 1) the hdmi port on the 3080 is hdmi 2.1 so the cbale might not like it.

also reset bios and which pci expreass slot is it in?

I went out and got an 8K compliant HDMI cable, same thing. 3080 is in the PCIex16 slot. I’m currently waiting for a HDMI - DisplayPort cable to arrive. I suspect it’s the TV but I don’t know why that would be the case.

The HDMI ports on your TV are v2.0a, the 3080 has HDMI v2.1 ports.
An Displayport to HDMI adaptor might work, but your refresh rate will be limited to 60hz @ 4k.

Not all DP to HDMI adaptors are made equally though, make sure you get a 4k one.

Just received a DP to HDMI and works perfectly. I guess I will put a new TV on my xmas list but happy to play at 4k 60hz.
