Hi all
Does anyone have any recommendations for a podcast app that works flawlessly across multiple devices in terms of podcast subscriptions and play position?
I've used Downcast for years but over the last couple of days the app has decided to delete all of my podcast subscriptions twice, and although I have added them all back on the iPad app, they will not sync across to my phone.
But the main problem I have had with pretty much every podcast app is that it doesn't seem to update the current play position often enough. I frequently listen to podcasts in the morning while getting ready for work on the iPad because of the louder speaker. I will pause the podcast playing on the iPad, put my shoes on and get into the car, at which point I would expect to be able to continue playing the podcast from where I've just left it. But the phone app will more often than not be in a different position, or have not even started at all.
Are my expectations just unrealistic in terms of what syncing can do or is there just something fundamentally wrong here?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a podcast app that works across multiple devices and is quick/instantaneous in updating play position etc?
Many thanks
M.
