I have a TP Link 8 port switch up in the loft space which 4 ports are POE, I have 2 spare POE ports left and would like to use a TP Link Powerline adapter to deliver internet to a outbuilding. The question i have is it safe to connect a POE Ethernet CAT6 cable into a powerline adapter???

No reason why it shouldn’t work. PoE ports auto detect whether power needs to be supplied or not. If not then they’ll just act like normal Ethernet ports.

I think I misread, if you just want to use the switch and not send power yeah it'll be fine, most PoE switches are autosensing (they negotiate, do you want power? here take it, or if you don't, don't worry I won't send it) - If you want to use the powerline adaptors to carry the power I doubt the off the shelf ones will support

They’re good ones too! But if you have any other option over powerlines, do that instead!

Thanks for your help guys, its purely internet. Don't require to power anything at the end point.
I thought POE devices are auto sensing but just making sure with the Powerline adapters.
