Hi All,

I've seen Ubiquiti injectors (around £10, so pretty cheap) but from what i can see, they're either 15 or 24v which i'm assuming doesn't conform to 802.3af?

So can anyone recommend a decent PoE injector for a (single) 2CD2032-I? Would something like the Level One POI-2002 be adequate?

Tar :)

I wouldn't rule out looking at getting a PoE switch (even an 8 port non managed one)

Leaves room for expansion.

Is there anyway of powering Ubiquiti AP's from a 802.3af Poe Netgear,TB-Link Switches without having to use the supplied Ubiquiti injector? Bit of a pain when you are stuck for room in a cabinet or weatherproof enclosure.

I've just used one of the Ubiquiti 24 port PoE managed switches and found it very easy to configure and manage.

We're deploying another 12 over the next 8 weeks.

I'm sure i've seen Ubiquiti 802.3af/at adaptors (priced around £20 each) that allow you to use their non-compatible hardware with 802.3 injectors/switches - not sure if it'll work with all of their hardware though.
