point and click adventures

I think i have played around 90% of the games mentioned in here!

Grim Fandango definitely my favourite, but most of the ones mentioned are very worth a play. Blade Runner and Indy Fate of Atlantis i loved. Massive fan of the blade runner film (directors cut) Can't beleive its 28 years old, miles ahead of its time!

Season one of the Strongbad point and click game (5 episodes) is on offer for £3.99 on steam at the moment.

I had a lot of fun playing it when it came out, well worth the price. :)

Nice i'll be getting that. Plus maybe the Penumbra pack (good first person survival/horror games with some physics based puzzles)

Maybe should finally get around to buying Mount & Blade Warband now as its on offer

Monkey Island
Sam n Max
Day of the Tentacle

These for me defined my childhood. Amazing games. Also enjoyed the kings quest series

I remember that one... Dan Castellaneta lol was in interesting game, even though I never actually completed it.

If I remember it bombed, it came out around the same time as another adventure game that didn't do too well..

Trilobyte Clandestiny. It was also an interesting game, based around the 7th guest but with cartoons and a spooky story set in scotland...

Grim Fandango is without doubt the best graphic adventure to be released and I'm due another play through of that classic sometime soon..

All good recommendations bar Monkey Island 4, Grim Fandango(Sorry I just didn't like the gameplay) & The Dig(I just didn't like any of it!) but the best have to be Beneath a Steel Sky(Joey Rocks!), ToonStruck(Doc Brown!:D), The Secret Of Monkey Island™(Never Pay more than $20 for a computergame) & Leisure Suit Larry 1-6.

My favorites have to full throttle, sam and max, discworld (although fiendishly hard if you dont know the story) and monkey island 1 of the old style games.

Of the newer games machiniarium, time gentleman please are awesome. If you have an xbox then try out axel and pixel which is also quite good
