Not sure if this is the right section, but I'm trying to figure out about an arcade game I remember playing ages ago.

I *think* it was Point Blank, or one of the versions. The final boss (if you can call it that) was a real coffee mug, above the screen. When you shot it, it exploded inside the cabinet. I never figured out if it was an illusion or a really mug.

Does anyone else remember playing this? Any idea which game it was?

Cheers

Hehe, don't think I haven't spent an fair part of the last hour searching for this.

It probably isn't Point Blank, but was very, very similar, which makes searches really hard.

I remember it, I pretty sure it's not affiliated with any game though.

Edit: I remembered a game with just a coffee mug - no screen.

anyone remember that 3d cowboy game? that was a holo game and the cabinet was white.

lol

I LOVE this game and always made it a little challenge of mine to make it to 1st place whenever I saw one in an arcade!

I remember playing this when I was like 6 years old. Didn't know WTF to do I just died as soon as the cowboy was ready to fight. He would just drop dead. Total waste of money and even then now when I look back at this, this game was CRAP!

Even worse are those live action lightgun games. I mean it came at a time when live action scenes was all the rage in the arcades and consoles i.e. Sega MegaCD era.

God if only this point in gaming history was erased. It was one of the worst trends ever in the early 90's.
