Point & Shoot 6.0 to 6.9 MP

I am looking for a Point & Shoot with around 6.0 to 6.9 MP , i have £300 to spend , must have a good macro for taking close ups , i am going to use the camera at car shows ect

Camera ive been looking at is the Nikon Coolpix S3

Any idea`s

Why do you want 6MP+?

Does it need to be pocket sized?

Yes i need some thing that will give me good results , pocket size would be great

Fuji F11 is what I plan to buy as a second camera (my other is a Nikon D70). Its within your budget, and should suit your needs well. Alternatively, the Panasonic FX8 is a strong contender, especially as it has image stabilisation.

yes the fuji F11 looks nice just looked on fuji web-site , the E900 Zoom like good also , i might go for the Nikon Coolpix S3 or Fuji , thanks for the advice , my main camera is the Fuji S9500

Although its 'only' 5mp, take a look at the Sony DSC H1, I'm totally in love with mine, can be had for around £265.
