Pointer Precision in W7 keeps automatically enabling

As per the email subject, 'Enable Pointer Precision' automatically enables itself upon rebooting. It's a real pain in the arse because I don't want it on for FPS gaming (unless it doesn't do anything in games - though I've read it enables acceleration).

Any reason people know this might keep happening? Is there a way to hard disable it in the registry or something?

Edit: got a g500 if that makes any difference

Did it the other day for my G500, disable it in setpoint too.
