Pointless getting 8800***!! What games?!

Oh please! Just because someone questions the logic in upgrading to the latest and greatest graphics card doesn't mean they can't afford it.

If you want to get into a ******* contest over whether you can afford the latest hardware, I wonder how many people on here who are dropping hundreds on new kit are living at home with their folks with no mortgage, rent or bills to pay. Oh yes, I'm really impressed by the disposable income of such people!

If you buy a new BMW and someone with a used Mondeo questions the logic of you spending so much on a new car, is that automatically because they "can't afford it"?

Weather any of us can or can't afford it is completely off the point, and frankly, none of your business or mine.

I'm going to ignore the threads made by people saying buying a G80 is pointless, Frankly because the threads are pointless. They just seem to be the rants and ravings of people with nothing better to do.

I'm going to overclock my G80.

I'm going to cry when I go too far and fry my card.

I'm going to get my old 5200 out of the cupboard.

I'm going to realise the old saying is true.. You don't know what you've got till it's gone.

I'm then i'm going to go over to the console games thread and post my top 5 video games of all time...
