Thanks for the kind comments. BigT, the tints look good, i think i may well do it in due course. :)

Re the badge discussion, either the previous owner fitted it or it came on the car as new, i am really not interested enough in what models came with it to have looked into it any further really. It looked nice to me when i bought it, and imo it looks nice now, so it might as well stay on there.

List of to job's on it are to get some paintless ding removal, get the tints done, get the alloys refurbished as i have mullered them with my leet parking skills, and finally sort the weird issue with the airmatics.

Whats wrong with the Airmatic?

If you don't drive it very often and leave it somewhere uneven, you will find the car a bit sloped until you start it up.

It sinks at the back when there is lots of load in the car and the wheels scrape when going over bumps. I keep meaning to sort it out but its always on the road and it isnt much of an issue with the use the car gets, so its getting put aside week after week.

As for usage, its getting nearly 2000 miles per week put onto it at the moment with my current project

yikes

thats almost like commuting from leeds to london 5 times a week.

Thats pretty much what im doing, live near newbury and doing places like bolton/leeds/preston etc as day trips :)

Adz, first one to say you dont like the colour, in real life (imo of course!) it looks really nice.

Can you not get your company to fly you places? 400 miles a day is a lot of time on the road.

Fly to places like leeds? It would take all day and cost hundreds and be a total total nightmare :p

I'd have to leave my house for a certain time, stress about getting along the M4 to heathrow which is 50 miles away, park, pay, get a bus to the terminal. Wait in departures. Get a delayed flight to an airport probably 50 miles away from where i am going, hire a car, drive to where i want to be in a crummy hire car, drive back, return the hire car at a certain time for my flight, wait, get the flight, get home at probably 10pm feeling absolutely shattered.

Alternative is leave whatever time i want, sit in the car for 3 hours in total silence with the seats nice and toasty and some mp3/dvd playing, do whatever the job is, sit in the car listening to tunes etc, get home approx 8 hours door to door after i left not feeling at all stressed or tired.

I assumed with your HUGE mileage that you were doing really long trips. 2000miles a week is 400 a day (Mon-Friday) or 285 miles if you count weekends. How do you do 400 a day if you are only driving for 6 hours? (OK just put that in my calculator and an average speed of 67mph would be pretty hard to obtain I would have thought!?

Give or take half an hour thats about right for the average speed i generally get up and down the country, i drive quite quickly.
