how do i found out what services i have running are unnessasary? (sos in spelling) i have easily 40 running so would like them to stop.

Personally i never find the guides quite cover what services everyone needs.
The best guide you can read is the one that explains in detail what each service does. At least with this method if you find something doesnt work, you can relate that to a disabled service.
Worth reading into though, useless things like Print Spooler on a PC without a printer can be disabled, and the list goes on.....

goto www.theeldergeek.com and type the name of each service into the search box and search there webbie normaly the first link will be information reguarding what the service is for and wheather it is needed or not. and the recomended setting (Manual/Auto/Disabled)
