points difference?

Quik question:

I have two 8800GT running with the same clock speeds however they are different makes. One is running project 5905 (R12, C444, G5) the other is running 5905 (R9, C438, G5) as they are the same projects should they be getting the same PPD? or is it that they are slightly different versions the points will be very different? I only ask as the card running the 5905 (R12, C444, G5) project is getting over 300PPD more

Don't get much variation between different wu within the same number - less than 5% I'd say.
Could be one of the cards is more alined for CUDA work - only why to know for sure is run the same unit on both cards with a single card setup.

Not worth the effort unless you've a spare hour to fill.

I have noticed this with the my CPU clients, I think they are all slightly different so hopefully all is fine.

Is it a dedicated folding rig? or do you use it normally aswell?

The 2nd core of my gtx295 is drawing my main screen, so when i'm browsing/watching videos etc its ppd drops by maybe 15%. If i leave the pc alone, so there is nothing changing on the desktop, then the ppd of both cores are identical. If its a folding rig only then this wont apply obviously.
