I got an SP30 and 3 points last year.

Earlier this year I had to send my license back to get renewed for medical reasons. When I got the replacement, it came back clean, to record on it of the previous SP30.

So I don't know what date it actually happened...

Questions is, if the points have been removed from my license would I be in danger of insurance fraud or something if I neglected to mention the SP30 when applying for bike insurance? It's not my fault the DVLA cocked up, so could just claim ignorance possibly

Generally insurance companies ask if you have had points or convictions in the past 5 years, even though the points are technically active for only 3 years, so by not declaring them you'd be at risk of having your insurance voided (afaik).

they wont show on the licence after 3 years but they are stored on DVLA system for 5 years, most insurance companies ask for points in the last 5 years, they only show on your license for 3 years incase someone tots up 12 points in 3 years
