Well I think we have all played them.

I bough one today after wantig to play a good RPG.

Boy these games are scarily addictive.

Can't put the game down!

I got Pokemon Emerald, anyone else played it? or anyone else think the pokemon games are top notch?

Haha, i picked up my old game boy colour the other day and loaded up the original Pokemon Blue. I have to agree they are stupidly addictive considering the fact they are time consuming for little pay off. Ah so many hours wasted as a kid on this thing!

Genious marketing concept as well. The hook is you 'gotta catch em all' but to do that there are certain creatures unique to the sister version of the games 'red/blue gold/silver etc'. Which meant inevitably buying both versions, even though the have the same content!

strange u mentioned this, my nephew just got pokemon emerald today but his reading isnt really up to scratch just yet due to his age. im gonna be pinching it instead :)
