But what is a decent offer to you ;) youve had two people ask for one upto now...lol.

Im gonna check the 'specs' of my Ivysaur when i get my DS back off my mate later, as he's one of my stronger Pokèmon...
 
Just ordered Soul Silver after reading this thread. :)

Something I don't quite understand is how do you import your pokemon from previous games?

Theres a trade area in each Pokèmon Centre, go to it in the new game, and the old one. They all interoperate with each other. The downside being that you need 2x DS's. :(.
 
I'm waiting until pokesav is out for HG/SS before I get too into it, the strategy side is the only side of pokemon I find interesting so i'm still on Diamond atm

There is a PokeSav out for it. How do you plan to put your PokeSav onto a retail cart? :p
 
I just beat Whitney, Damm that Milktank was annoyed she kept using Milk Drink to heal herself I think she ran out of PP on the move eventually which allowed me to get the win :)
 
It took me over an hour of trying to beat Whitney. Fire vs Rollout is not good :(

I'm now in the process of training to fight red. I'll catch all the Legendaries I can then start up a new game with a very different squad, consisting of 6 i've never used to beat a game before. Dratini(Dragonite), Zubat(Crobat), Mankey(Primeape), Growlithe(Arcanine), Sneasel(Weaville) and suprisingly enough, Pikachu (save for Yellow).
 
I bought mine from Tesco :) I got no strange looks

if your that paranoid slip in a "oh its for my lil brother" :p they will then just think awwww or he is clearly making that up :p

HAHAHA! I asked some guy on release day if they had the silver version out back with a massive grin on my face :D there's no shame in pokemon as the hot girl on the add shows....
 
I am going to have to play this. I can't resist any longer after wasting weeks playing the original and quite liking gold/silver I am :D .



Besides, Pokemon is gangster.
 
Just ticked past 70 hours. I'm getting prepared to start a new game so i'm catching all the legendaries I can to trade over, currently got 11 of them. Still need Latios, Groundon and Rayquayza, but I need my bro to get them. I can then trade over all the old legendaries as well, such as Uxie, Shaymin, Mew, and my favourite, Celebii :D.
 
How can you find out the IV of your Pokemon? I'm just plodding through this, absolutely love the Pokemon games they've got a great mix of all my favourite gaming elements.
 
heh good work guys, got my 3rd or 4th belt now..and finally worked out how to get many coins out of the Voltorb game!

my best is like level 4 or 5 i cant remember buti have nearly 2000 coins now so ill get an abra and an ekan too!
 
I remember trading in my original playstation (first gen) for a gameboy and pokemon red :D

seemed like a good idea at the time but when i look back i was robbed lol (i was only like 12 at the time)
