I enjoyed Pokemon X on the 3ds so I'm looking forward to this.

But... they haven't finished releasing the legendaries in X and Y yet?

In any case, if the quality is the same as before, I will be buying.
 
Oh god, I remember spending hours and hours on my Ruby. Hmm I need a 3DS for this don't I? The temptation... :(.
 
Can I just get my head around the concept of Pokémon.. since I finished black and now Im going through Y....

Basically each pokemon game has a story with the ultimate premise of going through the story, collecting pokemon, battling gym leaders and then a final end game boss?

Also, what is the point of "catching them all" (i.e. poke bank etc)? Are there any bonuses/perks given that are carried over when you start a new pokemon game?
 
spent countless hours playing red/blue on my big yellow brick gameboy.

Bulbasaur/ charmanda or squirtle. biggest childhood decision

That looks cool. Not played Pokemon since Red/Yellow because every one I tried after just felt exactly the flippin same. Think I managed an hour of White before I put it down. For some reason this remake intrigues me. I recall playing one where you got a mobile phone at the beginning but I cannot remember which that was.
