Let me know how you get on. I'm tempted to use the Amazon Prime free trial and just buy from them if it doesn't turn up today. At least then it should be guaranteed for tomorrow.

Just go with Torchic. The fact that Blaziken is in the same tier as many legendary Pokemon in competitive play says it all.

The review listed here denotes a remarkably similar experience. I take it you didn't receive the photo email / mms to say it had been dispatched?

Yup, just a 'dispatch' notice with none of the usual extra bits like the photo. Thankfully I paid through Paypal so any issue I can go through their resolution centre.

This all seems rather fishy. I checked out using Paypal, but the funds were taken from my debit? I presume I'm covered in precisely the same manner?

Paypal debits from your card if you don't have any funds in your Paypal account so you should be covered. I'm going to ask them for proof of postage in my email, and if they can't provide that ask for a refund as I'm ordering from Amazon.

My starter of choice will be Treecko. I particularly like the typing of his Mega Evolution.

i think treecko is not as good as the other two, but i am a low tier hero! when everyone picks charmander (who clearly is the strongest because it got the most unfair buffs compare to some other), i pick bulbasaur!

anyway if i want to trade from my pokemon x to omega ruby without a second ds, is the only way to do it is pokemon bank from the store?

I neglected to mention that ShopTo finally delivered my copy, seven days later no less!
My team currently consists of Treecko, a shiny Beldum that I obtained via Mystery Gift, and Zigzagoon. The latter will serve as my HM slave. The pickup ability is handy!

Mine still hasn't arrived

. Apparently there was no picture because it was hand packed due to the ****** key ring included. Guess it's an automatic process usually.

This is my first negative experience with ShopTo. It wouldn't be so bad if they were just honest about it.

I presume the super training is only needed for people who play online? I don't recall a Pokemon game ever being that hard and it seems a bit overkill for single player.

Depends how exact you want the ev training. Of course if you really care you'll fight specific hordes with pokrus and battle items to play out the best ev spreads.

Yes these are mostly used for online battles but also for battle tower or whatever to make competative teams.

I won't lie. I understood none of that. EV training is totally new to me, I preferred good old simple Pokemon

Ahh..well you know how a pokemon has 6 different stats ? You can influence how much each one increases by super training or battling different pokemon. Each pokemon you ko gives you a number of EVs from 1-3 and you can get upto 252 in 2 stats and 2 in another. So you can basically influence which stats increase the most through training.

Ah ok that makes sense. So I was just battling using my shiny beldum I got from the free gift thing and when I told it to attack it said he 'turned away' what's going on there? He also pretended not to notice and was loafing around.
I don't want to look at guides really and ruin things.

Basicslly you need more gym badges to make him obey i think each one let's you control higher level pokemon. It's a basic mechanic to stop you using lvl 100 pokemon from the start.
