The only difference is that there are some pokemon you can catch in the wild that you can't catch in the other version. It follows the same formula as the other pokemon games.

As someone who's never played a Pokemon game, thought the cards were pointless, hasn't seen the cartoon and just generally knows nothing about Pokemon. I decided to give this a go last night...

And ended up playing for 2 and a half hours. :eek:

Aren't Diamond and Pearl basically the same game, just with slight differences like Red and Blue had?
